No one among many entrepreneurs is as famous as Louis Chenevert in the business world. This wise man knew exactly what he wanted in life and he worked hard day and night to achieve his objectives. Chenevert came from a humble background, and therefore he is a testimony to the world that through determination and hard work, all things are possible.
Chenevert was born in the year 1958 in a small village known as Montreal in Quebec. He grew like any other child in the society. The only difference with other kids is that Chevenert gained an interest in entrepreneurship and the business world at a tender age. He was aware that dedication and tireless efforts would bring success in his life.
Chenevert went to Montreal Business school at the University of Montreal. At the University he specialized in a unique course known as Production Management. The training equipped him with sufficient knowledge of ensuring that goods are processed correctly, the best quality is produced at a high speed, and that the production costs are minimized to maximize on the profits.
As a Production Manager graduate, Chenevert was hired to work for General Motors at Quebec (St. Therese). Hachey is the man who hired and welcomed Chenevert at the General Motors. After Chenevert was hired, he was given the responsibilities to oversee all the operations of the General Motors line in the whole of Montreal.
The two young men, Hachey and Chenevert worked together for some time. They gained a lot of experience from the time they worked together before Hachey was hired to work as the Chief Operating Officer at Aerospace.
After 14 years of hard working at the General Motors Chenevert felt that it was a good time to shift to a different industry. Though he enjoyed working for the General Motors, this was not the line of industry Chenevert could wish to spend his life.
With that in mind, Chenevert decided to join the Aerospace industry. He was hired in 1993 by Pratt and Whitney Canada, an aircraft engine manufacturer. After some few years, Chenevert resigned and joined PWC company in the year 1996 as a vice Chief Executive Officer.
In conclusion in took Chenevert 3 years to be named as the president of the company. As the president, the company did well and it generated profits within a short duration of time.
